Delle opere con una forma… “storica”

La forma conferita a queste opere riprende i tradizionali bicchieri utilizzati nelle antiche osterie di paese di parecchi anni fa. Per valorizzarne il significato, sono stati realizzati utilizzando parti di un antico noce del mio paese, che ormai doveva essere potato.

I bicchieri sono ora anche impermeabili! Disponibili per utilizzo quotidiano sono stati trattati con resina alimentare. Acquistabili singolarmente o creando la combinazione che preferisci.

L’opera è disponibile su ordinazione, replicata a partire dall’originale. Trattandosi di lavorazioni interamente artigianali, i singoli pezzi potranno presentare piccole varianti.

Il prodotto finito é trattato con oli e cere naturali per evidenziare le venature e preservarne al meglio le cromie.

Artworks with a … “historical” form

The shape given to these works takes up the traditional glasses used in the ancient village taverns of several years ago.  To enhance their meaning, they were made using parts of an ancient walnut from my country, which by now had to be pruned.

The glasses are now also waterproof! Available for daily use, they have been treated with resin for food use. they can be purchased individually or by creating the combination you prefer.

The artwork is available on order, replicable starting from the original model. Since the processing is totally manufactured, each item could have its own peculiarities and little variants.

The final product is treated with natural oils and wax, to highlight the grain and preserve the beautiful shades.

I pezzi raccolti per la realizzazione delle opere sono parti di alberi colpiti dalle forze della natura, vecchie ceppaie, tronchi abbandonati. La volontà è quella di dare una seconda vita al legno, trasformandolo in oggetti che esaltano la sua natura. Pezzi “salvati” che rinascono con nuova forma, dei quali studio i dettagli, le particolarità, la qualità estetica.

All the wood parts that I use for my artworks belonged to trees, that were abandoned or hit by the force of nature. My will is to give a second life to this wood, to transform it into objects that enhance its special nature. Rescued pieces that have the chance to be born again in a new shape, of which I study details, peculiarities and aesthetics.
